Wedding Ceremony package
This package
includes:
- 20 to 30 min of pre-ceremony music played as your guests arrive at the venue / outdoor area
- Special song for the bridal party walking down the isle (groomsmen, bridesmaids, flower girls, and parents)
- Special song or a classical piece for the bride walking down the isle
- A song or a classical piece played during the signing of the register
- Special song for the recessional part while the newly married exit to cheers and applause and guests begin to leave the room.
We can customize the musical outfit according to your needs but in most cases you would select one of the following:
- solo musician
- duet
- trio
- quartet
The size of the ensemble will depend on your budget, musical needs, and style of your wedding ceremony. Once you decide how many musicians you require then you can select a type of instrument or a combination of instruments in a given ensemble. We will gladly assist you with your choice based on the amount of guests and the type of music you want.
SOLO MUSICIAN
If you select a solo musician you have an option of choosing an instrumentalist with or without backing tracks. Unless you select piano or guitar we strongly recommend that you use the option of having your musician (violinist, cellist, or flautist) play with backing tracks in order to make the music sound fuller, unless it is a very intimate setting. Available choices include:

TWO MUSICIANS
The most popular choices for a duet include:

Selections marked with a star indicate possibilities where I can use two or three instruments in addition to my partner on the third instrument. Since in addition to guitar I also play the cello, I am able to use those three instruments throughout the service.
For example, if you would order two musicians, violin and cello, and the ceremony consists of the following songs: 1. Bridal party entrance – Home (Edward Sharpe duh!), 2. Bride’s entrance – Make you feel my love (Adele), 3. Signing – Blackbird (The Beatles), 4 Recess – Your Song (Elton John), then we could play the music like this:
Pre-ceremony music as the guests arrive: violin and cello
Selection 1: violin and cello
Selection 2: violin and cello
Selection 3: violin and guitar
Selection 4 and guests leaving: violin and guitar
Cocktails: a mix of violin and cello and violin and guitar where the music contains a mix of classical and pop songs.
Wedding Ceremony + Reception package includes all of the musical components described above in the wedding ceremony package with an additional live music service usually performed in the guest area before the dinner as the couple goes away to take pictures. Once the ceremony is over we move to (or stay at) the location where guests are enjoying their drinks and conversations and play music there.
If you require a duet for the wedding ceremony and a trio for the reception / receiving / cocktails and vice versa please contact us with the details and we will provide you with more information. We also provide string trios, quartets, and jazz combos featuring jazz duo, jazz trio, and jazz quartet.
Receiving / Cocktails / Reception package includes all of the live music components listed above excluding the ceremony. The duration of this service is usually 60 min to 120 min but can be adjusted depending on the format of your wedding.
Full wedding music package includes Receiving / Cocktails / Reception & Dance party Band including lights and full PA system. As this can take many forms please contact us with some details and we’ll select a few options.
